In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Freedom Patriots basketball team scored a big 80-38 triumph over the Draughn Wildcats.

The Patriots (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC). The Black Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, North Buncombe smashed Owen (Black Mountain, NC), 38-19, in a non-league contest.
