Minnesota High School Basketball - Pine Island tops Triton
December 11, 2023: Pine Island, MN 55963 Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Triton Cobras (Dodge Center, MN), 67-54 in a league bout.
With the victory, Pine Island upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN) to play the Komets in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Komets come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Kasson-Mantorville lost 78-75 in their recent non-league bout against Goodhue (Goodhue, MN)
Next up, the Cobras play the United South Central Rebels (Wells, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Triton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Rebels come into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 53-32 non-league win over Madelia (Madelia, MN).
