Minnesota High School Basketball - Cannon Falls crushes Pine Island
January 26, 2024: Pine Island, MN 55963 Cannon Falls Bombers (Cannon Falls, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN), 71-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Cannon Falls upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Bombers host Randolph (Randolph, MN) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Rockets come into the bout with a record of 8-9. Randolph lost 74-44 in their recent non-league bout against Maple River (Mapleton, MN)
Next up, the Panthers play the Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Pine Island will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Komets come into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 63-60 non-league win over Goodhue (Goodhue, MN).
