February 13, 2024: Pine Island, MN 55963 The Byron Bears (Byron, MN) basketball crushed the host Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN), 65-38 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bears (19-6) will now prepare for their test against Stewartville (Stewartville, MN). The Tigers go into the AAA Section 1 test with a 21-3 record. In their last test, Stewartville walloped Lourdes (Rochester, MN), 91-30, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 10-15 record. They play next when they host Christ's Household of Faith for a non-league test on Friday, February 16. Pine Island will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 73-72 non-league win over Randolph (Randolph, MN). The Lions record now stands at 11-5.
