Minnesota High School Basketball - Centennial holds off Elk River
December 11, 2024: Circle Pines, MN 55014 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Centennial Cougars basketball team scored a close 53-47 triumph over the Elk River Elks.
The Cougars (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Andover (Andover, MN). The Huskies go into the AAAA Section 7 contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Andover was tipped by Blaine (Blaine, MN), 86-82, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Elks confront the St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN) in a AAAA Section 8 contest, on Friday, December 13. Elk River will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
