The Appomattox County Raiders defeated the host Rustburg Red Devils basketball squad by a final score of 36-24 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Raiders clash with the Gretna Hawks (Gretna, VA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, December 13. Appomattox County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Hawks come into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 45-11 non-league loss to Halifax County (South Boston, VA).

The Red Devils (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Bees come into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Brookville overcame Chatham (Chatham, VA), 49-9, in a non-league outing.
