The Pinecrest Patriots nipped the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres basketball squad by a final score of 57-53 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Patriots clash with the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, December 13. Pinecrest will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Cavaliers enter the outing with a 6-2 record after their 66-38 non-league win over Scotland (Laurinburg, NC).
