North Carolina High School Basketball - Woodlawn nudges Cornerstone Christian Academy
December 11, 2025: Statesville, NC 28625 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Woodlawn Trailblazers (Davidson, NC) and the host Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders (Statesville, NC), observed Woodlawn's basketball team edge Cornerstone Christian Academy by a score of 49-42.
The Trailblazers (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against The Fletcher School (Charlotte, NC). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, The Fletcher School was tipped by Woodlawn (Davidson, NC), 51-21, in a non-league battle.
The Crusaders now own a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sheets Memorial Christian for a CSAA battle on Friday, December 12. Cornerstone Christian Academy will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 68-22 non-league win over Southview Christian (Statesville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 7-1.
