Arizona High School Basketball - North triumphant over Metro Tech

December 11, 2025: Phoenix, AZ 85014

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the North Mustangs (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ), witnessed North's basketball squad rout Metro Tech by a count of 81-18.

With the victory, North advances its record to 9-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Independence (Glendale, AZ) to meet the Patriots in a non-league battle on Monday, December 15. The Patriots enter the battle with a record of 3-1. Independence won 34-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Youngker (Buckeye, AZ)

In their next game, the Knights battle the Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ) in a 5A Metro challenge, on Friday, December 12. Metro Tech will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Stampede come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 73-35 league win over Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ).
