The Vikings now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lee County for a 3A/4A Conference 24 battle on Tuesday, December 13. Union Pines will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 49-15 non-league win over Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 4-0.
The Jets (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Cummings (Burlington, NC). The Cavaliers come into the 1A/2A Conference 14 battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Cummings was routed by Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC), 55-15, in a league battle.
