The Mavericks now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clinton for a 3A District 4 battle on Friday, December 15. Anderson County will confront a Dragons team coming off a 64-59 league win over Union County (Maynardville, TN). The Dragons record now stands at 3-5.
The Highlanders (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Maryville Christian (Maryville, TN). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Maryville Christian beat Apostolic Christian (Knoxville, TN), 64-28, in a non-league battle.
