December 12, 2023: Hardin, IL 62047 The West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars (Winchester, IL) basketball crushed the host Calhoun Warriors (Hardin, IL), 60-37 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cougars (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Griggsville-Perry (Griggsville, IL). The Tornadoes go into the Western Illinois Valley test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Griggsville-Perry was trounced by Pittsfield (Pittsfield, IL), 46-44, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Greenfield/Northwestern for a Western Illinois Valley test on Friday, December 15. Calhoun will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 55-47 non-league loss to South County (Franklin, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 5-2.
