California High School Basketball - Nevada Union nips Bear River
December 12, 2023: Grass Valley, CA 95949 Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA), 46-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Nevada Union upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Miners travel to McClatchy (Sacramento, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-2. McClatchy won 55-51 in their recent non-league bout against Burbank (Sacramento, CA)
Next up, the Bruins play the Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Bear River will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 63-47 non-league loss to Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA).
