The The Covenant Eagles routed the visiting New Covenant Gryphons basketball team by a final score of 69-15 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Hampton Roads Academy Navigators (Newport News, VA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 14. The Covenant will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Navigators enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 58-39 non-league loss to St. Margaret's (Tappahannock, VA).

With the defeat, New Covenant moves to 7-1 on the year. The Gryphons host Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA) to face the Tornadoes in a non-league game on Friday, December 15.
