The North Cross Raiders basketball team (Roanoke, VA), was overwhelmed 47-19 in Tuesday's league battle with the host New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA)

The Gryphons now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lynchburg HomeSchool for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 7. New Covenant will confront a Patriots team coming off a 49-27 non-league loss to Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-4.

The Raiders (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against The Covenant (Charlottesville, VA). The Eagles come into the VISAA Blue Ridge battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, The Covenant trounced Saint Gertrude (Richmond, VA), 57-53, in a non-league battle.
