The Southwest Virginia Academy Conquerors topped the visiting New Covenant Gryphons basketball team by a final score of 48-36 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Conquerors face the Tri-Cities Christian Eagles (Blountville, TN) in a non-league game, on Thursday, January 25. Southwest Virginia Academy will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record.
