The Bladensburg Mustangs basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Laurel Spartans to 47 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Great Mills for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. Bladensburg will battle a Hornets team coming off a 52-44 non-league loss to Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 2-1.
