Washington High School Basketball - Sammamish knocked off by Highline
December 12, 2023: Burien, WA 98148 The Highline Pirates basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Sammamish RedHawks to 58 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tyee for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 14. Highline will battle a Titans team coming off a 61-3 non-league loss to River Ridge (Lacey, WA). The Titans record now stands at 0-2.
The RedHawks (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin Pierce (Tacoma, WA). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Franklin Pierce ran past Fife (Fife, WA), 57-41, in a non-league contest.
