The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS) and the visiting Morton Panthers (Morton, MS), observed Northeast Lauderdale's basketball team edge Morton by a score of 36-33.

The Trojans (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against South Jones (Ellisville, MS). The Braves come into the non-league challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, South Jones was tipped by Bay Springs (Bay Springs, MS), 58-56, in a non-league challenge.
