The Amherst Bulldogs basketball team (Amherst, TX), was trounced 66-29 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Elida Tigers (Elida, NM)

The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Grady (Grady, NM). The Bronchos enter the non-league match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Grady overwhelmed Non Varsity Opponent (, ), 42-32, in a non-league match.
