The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Elida Tigers (Elida, NM) and the host Amherst Bulldogs (Amherst, TX), observed Elida's basketball team knock off Amherst by a score of 58-41.

The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Vaughn (Vaughn, NM). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Vaughn knocked off San Jon (San Jon, NM), 36-30, in a non-league battle.
