In Friday's league test, the Bayard Tigers (Bayard, NE) basketball squad trounced the host Banner County Wildcats (Harrisburg, NE), by a final score of 67-28.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Leyton Warriors (Dalton, NE) in a D2 District 11 test, on Thursday, December 18. Bayard will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record.

With the loss, Banner County falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Hay Springs (Hay Springs, NE) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 13.
