In Friday's league test, the Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) basketball squad knocked off the host Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC), by a count of 72-60.

With the victory, Panther Creek advances its record to 7-2 on the year. The Catamounts travel to West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Lions in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 13. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 5-0. West Charlotte won 89-69 in their recent non-league battle against West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)

The Storm now own a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cary for a non-league battle on Monday, December 15. Willow Spring will meet a Imps squad coming off a 55-43 non-league win over Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Imps record now stands at 4-3.
