Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Apex Cougars (Apex, NC), 65-35 in a league match.

With the victory, Willow Spring advances its record to 16-6 on the year. The Storm host Green Hope (Cary, NC) to face the Falcons in a Quad City Seven 8A match on Thursday, February 12. The Falcons go into the contest with a record of 8-14. Green Hope lost 47-39 in their recent league contest against Panther Creek (Cary, NC)

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Felton Grove Galaxy (Apex, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 11. Apex will attempt to better on its 7-16 season record. The Galaxy go into the contest with a 1-19 record after their 84-57 league loss to Cary (Cary, NC).
