Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting McKinley Trojans (Sebring, OH), 72-9 in a league bout.

With the victory, Springfield upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH) to play the Rams in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout on Thursday, December 16. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Mineral Ridge lost 70-36 in their recent league bout against McDonald (McDonald, OH)
