Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC) and the host High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), saw Eastern Guilford's basketball squad hold off High Point Central by a tally of 50-44.

With the victory, Eastern Guilford improves its record to 1-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Grimsley (Greensboro, NC) to play the Whirlies in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 14. The Whirlies come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Grimsley lost 54-50 in their recent league challenge against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Bison play the Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC) in a 3A Conference 46 challenge, on Friday, December 16. High Point Central will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record.
