Georgia High School Basketball - Jefferson holds off Flowery Branch
December 13, 2022: Jefferson, GA 30549 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) and the visiting Flowery Branch Falcons (Flowery Branch, GA), saw Jefferson's basketball squad hold off Flowery Branch by a tally of 70-64.
With the victory, Jefferson improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA) to confront the Bulldoggs in a AAAAA Region 8 challenge on Friday, December 16. The Bulldoggs come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Winder-Barrow won 64-45 in their recent league challenge against Clarke Central (Athens, GA)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Commerce Tigers (Commerce, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 17. Flowery Branch will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record.
