Kansas High School Basketball - Fort Scott can't hold off Parsons
December 13, 2022: Parsons, KS 67357 The Parsons Vikings basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Fort Scott Tigers to 58 in the Vikings non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Labette County for a Southeast Kansas contest on Friday, December 16. Parsons will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 40-31 league win over Independence (Independence, KS). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-3.
The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Chanute (Chanute, KS). The Blue Comets come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Chanute edged Ottawa (Ottawa, KS), 51-48, in a non-league contest.
