The Wharton Wildcats basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Hillsborough Terriers to 53 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gaither for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 14. Wharton will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 58-50 non-league loss to Alonso (Tampa, FL). The Cowboys record now stands at 2-6.

The Terriers (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Leto (Tampa, FL). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Leto prevailed over Sickles (Tampa, FL), 81-69, in a non-league contest.
