Minnesota High School Basketball - Richfield overwhelmed by DeLaSalle

December 13, 2022: Minneapolis, MN 55401

The DeLaSalle Islanders basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the visiting Richfield Spartans to 26 in the Islanders non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Islanders now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Robbinsdale Cooper for a AAAA Section 6 contest on Friday, December 16. DeLaSalle will battle a Hawks team coming off a 93-21 non-league win over Columbia Heights (Columbia Heights, MN). The Hawks record now stands at 3-2.

The Spartans (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Maranatha Christian Academy (Brooklyn Park, MN). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Maranatha Christian Academy triumphed over South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN), 59-45, in a non-league contest.
