February 9, 2023: Bloomington, MN 55420 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the DeLaSalle Islanders (Minneapolis, MN) and the host Kennedy Eagles (Bloomington, MN), saw DeLaSalle's basketball squad overcome Kennedy by a tally of 73-53.
With the victory, DeLaSalle improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Islanders host Visitation (Mendota Heights, MN) to confront the Blazers in a AAA Section 3 challenge on Monday, February 13. The Blazers come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Visitation won 80-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Maranatha Christian Academy (Brooklyn Park, MN)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Fridley Tigers (Fridley, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 13. Kennedy will attempt to improve on its 2-19 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 11-10 record after their 71-55 non-league loss to Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN).
