Halstead Dragons (Halstead, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Remington Broncos (Whitewater, KS), 37-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Halstead upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Dragons travel to Smoky Valley (Lindsborg, KS) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Smoky Valley won 47-27 in their recent non-league bout against Concordia (Concordia, KS)
