The Queen's Grant Stallions basketball team (Matthews, NC), was overwhelmed 63-23 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC)

The Patriots now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sugar Creek for a 1A Conference 38 battle on Tuesday, December 20. Piedmont Community Charter will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 33-18 league win over Cabarrus Charter (Concord, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-4.

The Stallions (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Cavaliers come into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Cuthbertson was overwhelmed by Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC), 55-47, in a non-league battle.
