The Queen's Grant Stallions basketball team (Matthews, NC), was overwhelmed 69-42 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC)

The Patriots now possess a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corvian Community for a 1A Conference 38 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Piedmont Community Charter will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 40-33 non-league loss to United Faith Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-8.

The Stallions (7-12) will now prepare for their battle against Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Wildcats come into the 1A Conference 38 battle with a 3-10 record.
