The Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) basketball nipped the visiting East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC), 38-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Greenwave (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Crest (Shelby, NC). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record.

The Mustangs now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Hickory for a non-league test on Friday, December 16. East Lincoln will encounter a Red Tornadoes squad coming off a 47-26 non-league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 6-0.
