Washington High School Basketball - Woodland routs Mark Morris
December 13, 2023: Woodland, WA 98674 In Wednesday's league outing, the Woodland Beavers (Woodland, WA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mark Morris Monarchs (Longview, WA), by a count of 69-47.
The Beavers (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA). The Hawks go into the 2A Greater St. Helens outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Hockinson was crushed by Columbia River (Vancouver, WA), 93-62, in a league outing.
The Monarchs now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Fort Vancouver for a 2A Greater St. Helens outing on Friday, December 15. Mark Morris will clash with a Trappers squad coming off a 68-65 non-league win over La Center (La Center, WA). The Trappers record now stands at 2-3.
