South Dakota High School Basketball - Little Wound overwhelms Bennett County
December 13, 2024: Martin, SD 57551 The Little Wound Mustangs basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Bennett County Warriors to 23 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Crow Creek for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Little Wound will confront a Chieftains team coming off a 68-47 non-league win over Flandreau Indian (Flandreau, SD). The Chieftains record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Bennett County falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Gordon-Rushville (Gordon, NE) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 2-2.
