The Hammond Morton Governors basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Bowman Academy Eagles to 55 in the Governors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Governors now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Warren Township for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. Hammond Morton will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 63-49 league win over Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-2.
