In Friday's league contest, the visiting Tallwood Lions basketball team scored a close 64-58 triumph over the First Colonial Patriots.

The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Braves go into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Indian River nipped Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA), 100-28, in a non-league contest.
