Ohio High School Basketball - Jackson nudges Hoover

December 13, 2024: North Canton, OH 44720

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH) and the host Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH), observed Jackson's basketball team edge Hoover by a score of 51-45.

The Polar Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake (Uniontown, OH). The Blue Streaks come into the Federal challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Lake edged Dalton (Dalton, OH), 55-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings encounter the St. Edward Eagles (Lakewood, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 14. Hoover will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 59-25 league win over Brush (Lyndhurst, OH).
