In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Perkins County Plainsmen basketball team scored a good 69-60 triumph over the Kimball Longhorns.

The Plainsmen (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Paxton (Paxton, NE). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Paxton topped Potter-Dix (Potter, NE), 59-36, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Longhorns battle the Morrill Lions (Morrill, NE) in a C2 District 12 contest, on Saturday, December 14. Kimball will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 67-34 non-league win over Hay Springs (Hay Springs, NE).
