Texas High School Basketball - Veterans Memorial fells Lyford
December 13, 2024: Brownsville, TX 78520 The Veterans Memorial Chargers basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Lyford Bulldogs to 41 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Chargers now have a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Harlingen for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. Veterans Memorial will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 72-56 non-league win over Lyford (Lyford, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-3.
With the loss, Lyford falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, TX) to confront the Warriors in a 3A Region IV District 32 game on Tuesday, December 17.
