The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Leadership Academy Falcons (Kernersville, NC) and the visiting Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC), observed Leadership Academy's basketball team knock off Piedmont Classical by a score of 54-45.

The Falcons (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC). The Wolves come into the 1A Northwest Piedmont challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Bethany Community was knocked off by College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC), 86-29, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bobcats encounter the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) in a 1A Northwest Piedmont challenge, on Wednesday, December 18. Piedmont Classical will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record.
