Georgia High School Basketball - Wheeler holds off Walton
December 13, 2024: Marietta, GA 30068 In Friday's league contest, the host Wheeler Wildcats basketball team scored a close 55-52 triumph over the Walton Raiders.
The Wildcats (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Leilehua (Wahiawa, HI). The Mighty Mules go into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Leilehua was tipped by Maryknoll (Honolulu, HI), 68-56, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Raiders confront the Seckinger Jaguars (Buford, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Walton will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record.
