The Aldine Mustangs basketball squad (Houston, TX), was crushed 71-10 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Nimitz Cougars (Houston, TX)

With the victory, Nimitz advances its record to 11-4 on the year. The Cougars host Westfield (Houston, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a 6A Region II District 14 battle on Tuesday, December 17. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 9-2. Westfield won 59-7 in their recent league battle against Dekaney (Houston, TX)

The Mustangs now own a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to MacArthur for a 6A Region II District 14 battle on Tuesday, December 17. Aldine will meet a Generals squad coming off a 47-29 league win over Eisenhower (Houston, TX). The Generals record now stands at 4-12.
