In Friday's league contest, the host Page Pirates basketball team scored a good 57-41 win over the Western Guilford Hornets.

The Pirates (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC). The Bengals come into the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Greensboro Day School defeated Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC), 65-53, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17.
