The McDonald Blue Devils basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Mineral Ridge Rams to 51 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waterloo for a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest on Friday, December 17. McDonald will meet a Vikings team coming off a 72-71 league loss to Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 0-3.

The Rams (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Springfield (New Middletown, OH). The Tigers enter the Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Springfield ran past McKinley (Sebring, OH), 54-16, in a league contest.
