The McDonald Blue Devils basketball team scored 52 points and held the host McKinley Trojans to 44 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springfield for a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest on Friday, February 11. McDonald will battle a Tigers team coming off a 72-44 league win over Waterloo (Atwater, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 19-0.

The Trojans (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Lowellville (Lowellville, OH). The Rockets enter the Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Lowellville ran past Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH), 71-59, in a league contest.
