The Galax Maroon Tide basketball team (Galax, VA), was nudged 60-56 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA)

The Cavaliers now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Chiswell for a non-league battle on Friday, December 16.
