The La Plata Warriors basketball team (La Plata, MD), was toppled 62-54 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting St. Charles (Waldorf, MD)

The now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomas Stone for a non-league battle on Friday, December 16. St. Charles will confront a Cougars team coming off a 69-64 league loss to North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 0-2.

The Warriors (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Patuxent (Lusby, MD). The Panthers come into the Southern Maryland battle with a 0-4 record.
